I have been using xenical for about a week, the only
problems were in the first two days. The gas was terrible, but I
remembered my doctor telling me to take Phazyme–once I did that no
problems with gas. Even though they tell you about the oily stools,
the first time is a shock. During those first “gas” days, I would
recommend wearing a panty liner because of the oily residue. Since
women are use to wearing pany liners or pads it’s no big deal. Now to
the part you are really interested weight loss; so far 5lbs. I have a
Weight Watchers program basics booklet, so I use it as a general
guideline (I been following it for two months, weight loss 2lbs). I
exercise infrequently, but I have become more aware of what I am eating
because by using xenical you pay for cheating with frequent oily bowel
movements. My biggest problems was finding a chart listing fat grams.
I even went to our church bazaar this weekend and ate without any
problems—I just was aware of my food choices: Friday–roasted turkey
leg & corn on the cob; Sunday–bean burrito and rice.

I thought I would share my Xenical experience with everyone.
I have been taking it for one month now and I have lost 9lb.
I am feeling really great. I have had no side affects. Well that really is
not true. One night when I was out with friends something on the menu must
have had more fat in it than I realised and I had one loose bowel motion,
but it wasn’t that bad. At least the Xenical works!!
I have tried all the diets and fads over the years but this seems different.
I realise it might not suit everyone, but I am really happy with it and
would recommend it.

Does Accomplia have unsavory side effects? This user believe so. Here’s an account of her experience with the drug.
‘I took Accomplia. I had a horrible reaction to it. It felt like I had the flu…. nausea, high fever, chills, muscle aches and pains in my lower abdomen. I was so excited about starting it too, not to mention it was expensive.’

I’ve been on ionamin and pondimin for two and one half years. It took me 8 months to lose 35 pounds. After that, my weight stabilized, but I took the pills anyway - same dosage and before - one of each pill - one in the Am and one in the early PM. This last year I’ve found my cravings return - and am more interested in food. Control has had to come from inside. Don’t
start this rx without the knowledge that you will one day have to deal with the issues that encourage you to eat what your body ultimately turns into fat. You’ve got to exercise, keep your portions small, have very little fat, make smart choices, and rechannel your habitual food center. The pills are great and a tremendous help to get pounds off rapidly, and the more you deal with all those other demons, the more successful you’ll be in the long run. All the best of luck. This weight thing is a tough challenge. But you’ve gotta wanna!.

I took Phentermine 2 years ago with great success — built a tolerance — have gone on and off since with no further weight loss success, but it does still curb my appetite enough to help me maintain. At the most, I was taking 37.5 mgs at 10:00 A M and another 18.75 mgs in the afternoon if needed. I was told I shouldn’t go higher than this; therefore, I’m curious to see what dosage others are taking. I weigh betweem 145 and 150 depending on how diligent I am with
diet.
